The narrow-aperture mesh blocks climbing, cutting, and tool penetration while maintaining clear visibility for security teams. Powder-coated galvanised steel posts and marine-grade fasteners handle the salt spray, humidity, and wind loads of the Atlantic shoreline.

THE CHALLENGE

• Secure the water and sanitation site reservoir against intrusion from the seaward boundary.

THE APPROACH

• Conducted a full coastal site survey to map wall contours, drainage points, and wind exposure.
• Specified high-security fence in a marine-grade powder-coated finish.
• Fabricated custom steel base plates to anchor posts directly into the concrete sea wall.
• Installed stainless steel security fasteners and anti-tamper clamp bars on every panel.
• Stepped panel heights to follow the natural contour of the sea wall.
• Built and fitted a reinforced double-leaf access gate to match the main fence's security rating.
• Added bolted mesh covers over wall expansion joints and drainage opening.
